Henderson Municipal Power & Light (HMP&L) is seeking an Apprentice Lineworker I for their Transmission & Distribution Electric Utility Department. Minimum requirements include: residency in Henderson County or relocation to Henderson County; high school diploma or GED; certification by an APPA approved Lineworker Training school; ability to demonstrate regular and predictable attendance; must pass a drug/alcohol screen, physical exam, and background check upon conditional offer of employment; possess a year of previous electric industry experience; possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no DUI convictions in the previous 5 years. Preferred requirements include: certification as Kentucky Basic Work Zone Traffic Control & Flagger; CPR certification; First Aid and AED certification.
