CNC Operator / Mold Maker (Tool Room) – Build Precision. Make an Impact.
If you take pride in craftsmanship and precision, this is your chance to build and maintain the tooling that keeps production moving. As a Mold Maker, you’ll work hands-on with both manual and CNC equipment to create and refine die cast dies and components that directly impact quality and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Build, repair, and modify die cast and trim dies
- Perform machining operations including milling, grinding, drilling, turning, EDM, and polishing.
- Perform precision work including fitting, timing, spotting (hi-spot bluing), and assembly
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
- Create and edit basic CNC programs and utilize CAM software.
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
- Work alongside engineering to optimize tool paths and machining processes
- Maintain equipment and keep your workspace clean and organized.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required (Technical degree or apprenticeship preferred—or willingness to pursue).
- 4+ years of experience in tool & die, mold making, or CNC machining .
- Strong understanding of precision measurement and machining processes .
- Ability to set up and run CNC and metal removal equipment .
- Experience with die cast tooling is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Hands-on role in a hot manufacturing environment requiring standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working with tools and machinery.
- Safety is a top priority, and proper PPE is always required.
