CNC Set Up Technician 3rd Shift

CNC SET UP TECHNICIAN – 3rd SHIFT

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with CNC machines and making sure everything runs smoothly? Join our team as a Set Up Technician and play a key role in keeping our operations running efficiently while delivering high-quality products to our customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and start CNC machines following established procedures.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machines to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Perform tool changes, fixture alignments, and machine offsets.
• Work closely with Quality Control and teammates to solve dimensional or surface issues.
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other technicians and leaders across shifts for smooth hand-offs.
• Jump in to help team members meet production goals and keep output strong.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of CNC operator experience (non-manual CNC, Fanuc controls).
• Experience with CNC/lathe adjustments.
• Robotic training a plus.
• Prior experience with Fuji, RoboDrill, or Makino equipment preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Hands-on role in a hot manufacturing environment requiring standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working with tools and machinery.
• Safety is a top priority, and proper PPE is always required.
