Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare batches of product according to established formulas and procedures
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the compounding process
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Document all activities and maintain accurate records
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure product meets specifications
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Familiarity with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is desired
- Experience with materials handling, warehouse operations, or forklift operation is beneficial
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as batch records and standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Skills:
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment related to compounding, such as mixers, scales, and pumps
- Knowledge of fabricating and machining techniques is desirable for equipment maintenance purposes
