Primary Purpose of the Job:
Coordinate the Corn Conservation activities, test plots for selection of new hybrids and support the IP program. Supervisor his/her personnel.
Help in the supervision of fumigation of silos and other sanitation activities.
Traveling when necessary
Keep and Maintain records
Supervise Corn Conservation Technicians and Corn Lab Technicians
Supervise Elevator Operations (from receiving of corn to transfers of corn to production)
Coordinate and establish with farmers (corn suppliers) the test plots on fields
Sampling corn in farmers bins and elevators facilities in order to comply with the IP program and corn conservation.
IP Program duties (field inspection, field mapping, growers training, recollect information and sampling)
Schedule all of the incoming corn to the plant.
Drive Company's vehicle
Subsitute sanitation supervisor when he/she is absent
Miscellaneous duties according to his/her position.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent
Required Physical Demands:
Eye-hand and hand to hand coordination required. Standing up to 75% of shift and walking required. Lifting 50+ lbs occassionally required. Climbing stairs up to 5 flights or more repeatedly and ladders over 25 feet required. Confined space work, with respirator, required. Must be able to travel for business reasons as needed.
Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy conditions, caused by the weather. Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch or level sufficient to require hearing protection
