EHS SAFETY SPECIALIST

Be the driving force behind a safe and healthy workplace. We’re looking for a proactive EHS Safety Specialist to champion safety, environmental compliance, and employee well-being. In this role, you’ll work closely with plant leadership to ensure our teams have the training, tools, and safe processes they need to succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Safety Investigations: Investigate OSHA recordable incidents, ergonomic injuries, and safety complaints; recommend and follow up on corrective actions.
• Deliver Training: Conduct and coordinate EHS training (PIT, LOTO, ergonomics, etc.).
• Ensure Compliance: Audit facilities for safety and environmental standards; work with teams to correct issues.
• Promote Safe Practices: Coach employees on safe behaviors, ergonomics, and proper PPE use.
• Analyze & Improve: Use data, IH testing, and ergonomic tools to spot trends, solve problems, and enhance workplace safety.
• Support Projects: Assist in planning and executing safety and environmental initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Sciences, or applicable Engineering (preferred).
• 3+ years of EHS or safety management experience.
• Ability to interpret and apply OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• OSHA 30-hour and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
