Maintenance Technician -1st Shift

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – 1st SHIFT

This hourly position is responsible for maintaining and repairing facility machinery and equipment while supporting all departments to provide quality die-castings for customers. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES  

• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment and machinery
• Installs and relocates facility equipment and machinery
• Completes daily maintenance work orders and repair logs
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues.
• Troubleshoots using PLC logic and HMI controls.
• Uses hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
• Uses 480V 3-phase electrical circuits.
• Performs general welding and fabrication.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management. 
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance in accordance with scheduled work hours and overtime (OT) as assigned. 
• Meets all physical and environmental requirements.
• Follows all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Policy regulations including the proper use of all required personal protective equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  

Certifications/License:  Industrial Maintenance Certification; Powered Industrial Equipment certification.

Experience: One year maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
