Nitride Operator

NITRIDE OPERATOR – 2nd or 3rd Shift

This hourly skilled position ensures our customers receive a quality die cast product through the proper performance of the Nitride process required to maintain the casting tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

• Completes Pre and Post process tooling (Sand blast, plug holes, pre-heat, steam wash, glass blast, etc.) 
• Processes tools through the Nitride pots following all applicable work instructions    
• Maintains cyanide concentration in pots
• Maintains nitride pots and replace liners as needed
• Prepares and maintains records of cyanide waste (hazardous waste)
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance, in accordance with scheduled work hours, and overtime(OT) as assigned.
• Meets all physical and environmental requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Certifications/Licenses: Gibbs Powered Industrial Equipment License,

Hazardous Material and Respiratory Awareness certifications.

Experience: Six months related experience.
