PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN SMED--2nd AND 3rd SHIFTS
This hourly, non-exempt position ensures that customers receive a quality die-cast product as part of the Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) Team in performing accurate and timely procedures for casting die and trim press setups, changeovers and sleeve changes.
ESSENTIAL GOALS, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Education: High School Diploma or general education degree GED
Certifications/Licenses: Journeyman or CNC Apprenticeship Certifications
Experience: One year’s experience as a Production/Casting Technician, Press Team Lead, or Setup Technician; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Other Requirements: Must successfully complete SMED training and Standard Work courses
