QUALITY TECHNICIAN – 2ND SHIFT (COMAC)

We’re looking for a dedicated Quality Technician to support our production team by ensuring products meet customer expectations and company standards. In this role, you’ll be the go-to quality resource on the production floor—driving improvements, solving problems, and making a real impact on product performance and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the quality contact on the production floor—providing guidance and support to team members.
- Partner with engineering and production to develop and launch new programs, including control plans, PFMEAs, process flow diagrams, inspection standards, and more.
- Create and update quality documentation, train team members, and ensure clear communication of corrective actions, deviations, and work instructions.
- Analyze data and make informed quality decisions, teaching others how to identify and prevent potential issues.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams, using tools like 5 Whys and cause & effect analysis to identify and eliminate root causes.
- Perform process and product audits to ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards.
- Stop production when needed to protect the customer from non-conforming product or unsafe work habits.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 1 year of quality, manufacturing, or inspection experience preferred.
- Skills & Training: Blueprint Reading, SPC, and Measurement Tools for Quality Control (or willingness to complete these classes).
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
