Senior Financial Analyst - 1st Shift #5274

SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

This salaried position will analyze financial performance, maintain standard costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, the ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Analyze monthly financial results.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.
• Partner with operations to develop the Annual Operating Plan.
• Report customer sales trends monthly, highlighting variances from forecast and budget.
• Work with other members of the Finance Team to complete the quarterly profit report.
• Interface with the Materials group to develop metrics related to Inventory accuracy and a process to perform additional audits on the data submitted.
• Prepare the annual standard cost update.
• Ensure accuracy of the quarterly and annual physical inventory.
• Monitor the CAPEX spend to budget.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Certifications: CMA or CPA a plus, but not required.

Experience: 1 to 5 years of accounting or financial analysis; prior public accounting or manufacturing experience a plus.
