Job Summary:
As a Tower Hand you will be working in a team environment assisting with structural projects, which may include: new builds, repair, and site modifications.This is a travel position.
Job Duties:
• Work at heights 200+; with abilities to become efficient with weather proofing and grounding
• Participate in and assist in installation, repair, modification, optimization, or acceptance test procedures of wireless infrastructures and electrical equipment
• Gain knowledge in installation of wireless infrastructure including, but not limited to: antennas, feed lines, fiber, shelters, self-support towers, guy towers, and monopoles
• Take direction and learn from experience; gaining knowledge of cell sites to include RF, lighting systems, fiber, and power
• Assist in completing assigned tasks within project scope accurately and efficiently
• Strict attention to detail and organization; enabling timely task completion focusing on the quality of workmanship
• Assist in pick up/delivery of supplies, tools, equipment, components, etc.
• Maintain clean, orderly environment adhering to company policies and industry regulation/standard(s) (OSHA)
• Attend in-house training and participate in certification programs as necessary
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
• General landscaping & Trenching
• Must be willing to understand oral & written directions regarding traffic laws/regulations, occupational hazards, and safety precautions
• Gain knowledge of basic hand tools and willingness to gain experience with power tools, heavy equipment, and become mechanically inclined

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 ½ - 2 years tower construction background required, preferably telecommunications
• Comtrain & OSHA certified a plus.
• Knowledge of Equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to climb; stand; walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
